Food Revolution
I recently read a book entitled Fast Food Nation and saw a show called Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. Both inspired me and now I'm fighting to get better lunch food at school. The meat is horrible- dirtier even than fast food meat. The big meat processors don't care about us, the consumers. They just want our money. If were to get sick from their meat, they wouldn't care. It's all money, money, money. But we can make a difference. Stop buying the meat from the major companies, instead buy from smaller local companies. And limit your fast food. If we demand better food, they will listen. Not because they care about us, of course, but for our money.

Accidents
My little brother is different. He can get slammed in the gut by someone (me) on a swing and get up laughing. One thing he has trouble with is "accidents". Just today, he clogged up the toilet, causing fecal matter and toilet water to spill down the hallway. Then, while I was baby sitting him and my little sister, he "accidentally" pooped on my parents bed. That reminds me of the time he had sleep walked into my parents room and started peeing on the side of their bed. It went something like this-
Dad- What do you want?
Brother-.....
Dad- What are you doing?
Brother- .....
Dad- Awww! He just peed on me!
Well, I gotta go. Bye

Bad Days- are they really all bad?
Today I was really in a great mood. Just yesterday I had gotten third place in a geography bee and was the only 6th grader to make it that far. So I walked into school with a big smile on my face, and the day was great-until I got on the bus. My bus driver (who had assigned me a new seat away from my friends) refused to listen to reason. She said I was moved because I was on my cellphone, which I guess would be a somewhat reasonable thing to be moved for if I even had a cell phone. I think she doesn't like me (the feelings mutual). Then when I got off the bus, it was raining and I had several blocks to walk (it really dampened my spirit-get it? Dampened my spirit? Oh, never mind) but i got to thinking-there really is no such thing as a bad day- or for that mater a good one. It's just how you remember it-by the bad things or the good ones. Well, I've got to do my math homework now, so bye.
